    And his beard.

Hopefully he shows a little bit more the rest of the preseason.

I hate that he may take the roster spot of someone who is much more deserving and can offer the team more.

But without him, we don't have enough backup centers. We need some insurance for Yao and Deke.

We should just keep his beard. It is much more offensive than he is.

Personally I think Yao/Scola/Deke/Hayes/sometimes Battier is enough for our frontcourt..

although, I dont really care which dead weights we keep, as long as we don't cut Harris!

hes only 22, give him a few years backing up Yao and he'll be worth it in my opinion

I agree, for all we know Deke could have absolutely nothing left in the tank.

He will be like Big Jake, insurance, warm body, and 6 fouls to use.

Jackie sucked tonight. We can use Scola or Hayes as backup centers.

everytime I see him on the court he just seems so uninterested in the game. No passion at all, even worse than stro.

Everybody kept on saying give him a few more years. But he has already got too many chances. Spurs and Knicks knew that he has talent but not the attitude for the game, that is why they let him go.

Just dont want him to turn out to be a cancer to the team with his attitude

    Cut him.

If Yao goes down and Deke needs help there are always some guys who didn't get picked up who are ready for some 10 day contracts to show what they have.

lol. But his beard... I love it. It's almost as manly as Walt Frazier's mutton chops.

Well, according to a report from Wang Meng during the training camp, Jackie Butler was totally out of competitive form with very high fat contents. Very clumsy and slow and he could not even endure one of those to-and-fro court running faster than Deke, who barely touched basketball during the summer.

Yeah its not a good sign that he got ZERO minutes in the 2nd half.

I'm guessing Adelman grew tired of seeing him taking it in the ass from Bass and not getting the courtesy of a reach around.

Butler is making a lot of money. Oh well...we don't get Scola without taking Butler.
