He's my biggest fan/stalker. So long as he keeps his distance, I won't have to get a restraining order.
Interesting. If it's a local, he's screwing you. My local has +1 and Texans have been +1 at every major offshore since about 10 AM. Hopefully won't matter either way as we win outright!
We shutdown a powerful KC offense and scored enough against two decent defenses in CHI and KC. Arizona and Miami scored tons on this NE D and the MIA D held NE to 7 in the 2nd half, plus you got the rookie Brisket starting on a short week... Someone tell me how in the hell NE is supposed to win this game?
The only reason why I'm picking the Texans tonight is because this defense is going against a 3rd string QB. The Texans are going to have to start showing they can win games like this no matter who the QB is to start being taken seriously.
First time I've watched the entire pregame show for Thursday Night Football and I am impressed by the production quality. The only one better is Sunday Night Football.
Since when was KC considered a powerful offense? Especially without Charles? Chicago's defense is ok at best, but they've dealt with a lot of injuries so far, and their secondary was hampered going into our game. Arizona has a top 5 offense but only put up 21 at home vs NE. Miami got all their points after trailing 31-3 when the Patriots played most of that half with soft zones to take time off the clock. Mia D held NE to 7 after Brissett scored on the first drive because NE was content to run the ball. Just look at Blount's carries if you didn't watch the game. The one thing we do have going for us is that I can't see how Brissett is supposed to learn the complexities of the Pats offense in just 3 days with the 1st stringers, AND have to deal with our top 5 defense. But at the same time, we also only had 3 days to game plan. They have the element of surprise/unknown commodity. And road teams generally do not do well on short weeks. You are being biased without really considering other angles or sides. On paper we should win, but it doesn't always work like that, plus the Patriots have many favorable trends going their way along with an elite coach. It's going to come down to our defense, per usual, unless our offense can turn in an efficient performance on the road in one of the hardest places to get a win. I just don't understand how anyone can overlook the Pats at home. Belichick as a short fav or underdog has a ridiculous win percentage. I think we will win, but I don't think it's as a clear cut case as you are making it seem. But I hope you are right.
The same reason the national media still portray Boston as a bunch of fishermen who jerk it to "big paaaaah-peee"
Would love to see him get those edge runs a lot more. Utilize his speed. Tired of seeing him run between tackles and picking up like 2 yard gains. Probably changes with a healthy o-line though.
Dang, not the way we want to start this...that DL of theirs is getting a stronger push than I anticipated.
