alrighty..ausmus is sitting his butt on the bench...the line in Vegas just went up....with the chances of at least 2 double plays out of question for the astros.
Our offense better be on tonite b/c i doubt Wandy is going to get much better. But atleast im getting a joint simulcast of Larry/Bill and the spanish announcers.
Wow... we look awful, yet still score a run. (seeing-eye single up the middle, seeing-eye single right between the SS and 3B, double-play, infield single). Its that easy sometimes... and also that random. EDIT: At least they've made the rest of the inning look legitimate... Lane had a solid shot up the middle, and Everett (even though he blooped it) attempted to go the other way with it.
That pretty much sums it up for finesse guys like him. He seemed to locate better when he first came up, but the last three games he's been all over the place. It could be his shoulder bothering him... but even if it isn't, I don't think he'll get that many more chances. I'd like to see what they have in Nieve... no point in holding him back if he's just going to end up like Wandy (and, judging by his not so stellar AAA #'s so far, it could be just that... but he also has 2 shutouts so the dreaded "P" word still lingers).
lol, he has to. How come we score so many for him, but our good pitchers we can't even get 1 run for?
No excuse for that play (or lack thereof) by Wandy. He will REALLY pay for that one in Kangaroo court, and is absolutely inexcusable.
Wow. Adam doing Bigde's job in the field. What a range. PS. Wandy has descent stuff but he has to improve his location. He almost has to start pitching like Moyer or Duke. I will chuck his issues now under rookie learning pains.
