Just heard that a deal is all but done that would make Chris Mullin, Travis Best, and Austin Croshere all Celtics in exchange for Antoine Walker, and Dana Barros.

    Nutz.

If this is true, then the Pacers are morons. Why would they take on the contract of an overpaid, arrogant lazysomething and a 1/2? Whoa, sorry, those were strong words.

This must go back to those providence years if true. Antoine Walker is sweet. Gives the Pacers a wonderful scoring option, but it seems to me that the Pacers actually lose in this deal. Croshere was as effective in the finals as Walker will be. So what does this really change for Indy? Seems like a bad deal unless finances are playing a role.

That only leaves Mobes for Toronto and Houston to pursue.

This also puts Jalen at the point unless I'm mistaken. Which leaves Mark Jackson out of the mix. Is he going to stick around? Jalen will be happy, but the Pacers will be worse if you ask me.

Im not one of the guys that are down on Walker. I believe that he is struggling with either coaching style, or game tempos. I think given the right set of circumstances that Walker can be a star in this league.

I mean the guy has a great offensive game, that includes a decent mid range shot, and post moves. He can rebound, pass the ball (when he wants too) and play a little D. He just needs to learn to play team ball better.

Wow. I love this trade if I'm the Pacers. They get a All-Star caliber player for 2 good role player. People say that the Pacers are old but they have a pretty bright future with 4 studs like Jalen Rose, Al Harrinton, Jonathan bender, and Antoine Walker.

yeah, look at Indiana's future versatility. This move tells me that Jalen is their PG now, and look at their lineup (minus a center)

    PG-Rose 6'8''
    SG-Harrington 6'11''
    SF-Bender 6'11''
    PF-Walker 6'10''

That's insane size, with crazy athleticism and youth! If they got an athletic defensive center (such as Cato) they'd be pretty scary.

The more lefties on your team, the better.
Collier is Seven Foot and Left Handed. How can you go wrong?
    Trade or bench Kenny Thomas.
