let me get this straight. The pitcher or thrower or bowler or whatever you call him is wearing the same uniform as the guy with the bat or baddle or stick or whatever you call it. And, btw, that is a really small stadium, for such a big deal.
there are two batters, the bowler is wearign green and yellow and yes small stadium in this case think it was some sort of charity game in the country.... the test last week in melbourne had crowds of 80,000 the first two days
so what you are saying is this bowler is so good that he has such a wicked wickie curve that it takes 10 guys to catch it. Or is this game glamourizing the bunt play a wee bit too much.
btw: excuse me for thinking the guy leaning againt his paddle was behind the wicket and out of play, like on the "on deck circle" teach me
ok...i still have two questions unanswered in this thread ... #1: MR. MEOWGI...so, is that a regift or not? B: Smeggy...I still don't understand why 10 teammates helping the catcher catch the bowl (or pitch....or throw...or toss...or roll...or whatever it is called.) oh, and iii) is your moniker about cats? I've never been able to sort it out.
heypee, the field alignment in the picture is very unusual and was likely a joke..... in a charity game, it was most likely that the batter may have been terrible and an edge to those fielders was most likely and they may normally have 2-3 slips.... in this case they put them all there for fun try here for more explanations en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cricket or en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_towel_explanation_of_cricket the best way to work it out is to see a game live....... but you'll need to come downunder to experience the best stuff
Was it regifted to me or did I regift it? Actually my parents gave it to us as a "funny" gift. My dad was somewhere where a guy makes and sells them (like Galveston or something) he tried to find a big mosquito but they didn't have any. They know it is ridiciulous. I love it and will definitely keep it. As ugly as it is, it gets a laugh and puts a smile on people's faces.
