I just bought mine a couple of days ago, and for the most part I'm fairly impressed. Of course it isn't an IPod, but for the price it's just as good. I bought the 30 gig version, probably about 20 gigs worth I will never use... The only problems I've found with it: The scroll dial could be better. For instance, when using it to press enter it has to be in the dead center to work. The carrying case should have had a hole for the screen. When adding files to playing now, the menu doesn't go away. It should dissapear the same way it does when you use the menu to play a file. The buttons should have been placed on the front cover. The CD should have the newer version for NOMAD Explorer for transfers. The new version is just drag and drop. If anyone is looking for a good IPod alternative and can't spend the big bucks on an IPod, the Creative NOMAD Zen NX's are a great alternative.
i bought one from ebay like 2 months ago and i've been very happy with it. mines the 20 gig but i put every single song i have on there so it's full. the one thing with it is that it reads and organizes only by the id3 tag. so if you want songs, albums, etc in order then you have to go through and put the correct numbers in the tag. it took alot of time for me because alot of my tags(downloaded from kazaa,etc.) were messed up. once you get your music collection organized it's sweet to have your whole collection anywhere.
this is the first time i've heard of the nomad zen nx. whats the difference between the nomad zen and the nomad zen nx??
