I would imagine it goes like the following Code: Day 1 Hotel: $42.00 Dinner: $9.75 Breakfast: $5.50 Parking: $3.00 Tax $3.15 Total: $57.90 Day 2 Hotel: $42.00 Lunch: $8.75 Dinner: $9.75 Breakfast: $5.50 Parking: $3.00 Tax: $3.97 Total: $72.98 Day 3 Hotel: $42.00 Lunch: $8.75 Dinner: $9.75 Breakfast: $5.50 Parking: $3.00 Tax: $3.97 Total: $72.98 Day 4 Hotel: $42.00 Lunch: $8.75 Dinner: $9.75 Breakfast: $5.50 Parking: $3.00 Tax: $3.97 Total: $72.98 Day 5 Hotel: $42.00 Lunch: $8.75 Dinner: $9.75 Breakfast: $5.50 Parking: $3.00 Tax: $3.97 Total: $72.98 Grand Total: $342.82 I am applying for a summer job and this was one of the questions. I have never seen an itemized bill before; but I imagine it is not hard to learn how to make them, either. Clutch BBS Powers to the RESCUE!
I think you need to check your meal charges. Don't they only eat dinner on Day 1? Do you need to add an additional breakfast charge for the departure day as well?
So I shouldn't Charge them the next day's breakfast the day before? Also on my resume, should I list my volunteer contributions under experience
You found the error in day 1 (60.25*1.0575) = 63.71, because the total is before I switched the breakfast to the previous day's bill. But, I would like to know if I am listing the items in the correct order. Also, if anyone can help me with the resume question, I will be appreciative!
Here is what the itemized report looks like at the moment. Any changes? http://bbs.smeggysmeg.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=566&stc=1&d=1138510873
Tell them it's a trick question because a hotel that's $42/night must also include a $30 cheap hooker fee which also means 2 x the $5.50 Denny's breakfast.
I re-editing the invoices, recheck the links Also, should I list my volunteering, research, and positions under experience or not list them at all on my resume?
If the positions can sufficiently fill out your resume, then leave off the other stuff. Just find a way to present it during your interview. If you only have one contributing position, then list the vol and res.

You might want to revise your language. "Providing Progress Reports of Progress" sounds awkward. Reading Journal blah blah blah and Providing Progress Reports is one duty and should not be separated with a semi-colon. Also, why do you have some jobs with "reponsibilities" and others "responsibilities included" Representing Floor Nine as Floor President?? Floor Nine President
I have been working on it at different times of the week. I changed the first two to state "Responsibilities include:" because I stil am involved with those. Criticism is constructive!
