My big sister has three beautiful kids that got taken up last night. Kick door style. She would drop her kids off to go work at cantinas and not come back till 2 days later. Finally my little 8 yr nephew got fed up and threaten to commit suicide locked up in the restroom. They took him to the hospital and they got a psychiatrist. Well, he spilled the beans on her. A 15yr, 8yr, and 2 yr old all gone.
I've heard of relatives attempting to keep the children when they take them away... so that relatives can keep an eye on the kids, and not a stranger. Try to adopt those kids if you can, or someone in the family that can keep them. Get help QUICK, man. Check THIS out: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090329225715AAmDsth
15 is not old enough to watch the other two A 15 yr home alone with the other two should have been sufficient I think the not coming home for 2 days is what kills it A relative should be able to step in and step up easily if they so desire Rocket River
I honestly read that as your sister dropping the kids off at cantinas so they could work. Sad man, good luck. 15yr is not old enough to take care of the younger ones.....for 2 days?!
Generally a first time offender can regain custody, but it would be much easier for direct family members (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc) to get temporary custody.
I don't really understand how a cantina job requires being away that long, or where she is staying during that time. I'm assuming cantina shifts are not 48 hours straight? I'm confused on if she left them at home, or where she dropped them off at, and how far away the cantinas are from that place? My opinion could change with more information, but it sounds like the kids need outside help if they are being left for 2 days at a time with no adult supervision. Especially if this is a regular thing. Obviously if one of the other kids is threatening suicide then that's more than any 15 year old is going to be able to deal with.
