Trade Luther Head for Ike Diogu Draft Rodney Stuckey Indiana has a bunch of forwards but no reliable SG. They have Dunleavy and Daniels as their guards. Diogu gives us a bigger PF that is a better rebounder and has a better offensive game. Stuckey can handle the point off the bench and could share PG duties when both he and TMac are on the court. He can also score off the bench and would be a nice addition. He's pretty much Luther Head with a better overall offensive game and better PG instincts.
yea i know we need to add some, but im just saying...theoretically...if their salaries did match up...could it happen
IF they did match up then yes it COULD happen. But they don't match up. We should only trade Head if we're going to acquire (via draft, free agency etc.) a shooting guard who is superior to him, otherwise we'll be missing a piece of the rotation. And what specifically do you mean by "need to add some"? Some what? Please be specific.
some...meaning another player to match salaries on both sides. head and juwan=$8 million diogu and foster=$8 million draft Rodney Stuckey to take Luther's place
Think from Indiana perspective -- they made a trade with GS, one of the reason was they thnik this guy is going to be a corner stone for them down the road. Now just like that, trade him away?
This one worked: It's at a pretty hefty price, but all three of the guys we're giving up disappointed in the playoffs, so it's not too bad.
i dont see how they're gonna use Diogu when they have Jermaine O'neal locked up for $20 million the next 4 years unless they move him back to center. they have granger and shawne williams and a bunch of 3/4 type guys. they hardly played diogu at all last year...like 14 minutes a game. i just dont think they see him as anything more than a bench player.
