    for any repair-wise members:

a friend of mine has a house with eaves that need to be patched (left side of house and right side, as well. both are approximately 10 ft.) is a 2 story house and is tounge & groove. what is a FAIR price to repair and repaint?

I'm visual- can you post some pics? I may be able to give you a ballpark. I've been remodeling my house and helping my buddy with his for the past two years.

sorry don't have pics. can tell u there are some wood rot sections. the facia will have to be pulled to get to the rotted spots.

he said he's gotten some bids in, but they're all over the place. from $450 to 1200. he doesn't necessarily want to go with the cheapest price. he wants the FAIR price for a good job.
