    This animation charts all the earthquakes for 2011.

    Really interesting. The huge bursts at times are freaky.


    It seems like Japan gets about 4 earthquakes per day on this.

    Holy crap, the pacific island nations get pummeled. Also, Californians are no longer allowed to complain about earthquakes.

    Japan got demolished in March. HOLY ****.
    Wow I don't know how some of these people live knowing that there will be like a guaranteed earthquake (major or minor) every week.

    Very interesting. No earthquakes in Australia so I guess the place really is geologically moribund.

    Yeah, there's a disturbing set of blips right before the big one also. I had NO idea there were that many aftershocks.
