Dallas has lost two in a row, Minnesota lost last night, and as you say, either la or portland will lose tonight...plus the lake show fell to the bucks last night. THe bucks are beating the jazz in the 4th right now, the kings have lost two in a row, and the spurs lost tonight. The only western conference team not possibly on a downslide is pheonix. Man Holden, great point. I've watched a few of these games on TNT of a late and some of these contenders just don't look that good. As of now, and especially the way Hakeem is playin' of late, i'm starting to really believe the Rockets have a legitimate shot at competing well into the playoffs. Utah will be tough to overcome, but other than them the west doesn't seem as stable. ------------------

The only team I am scared of is the kings. They wiped the floor with us both times we played them. We have no one on our team that can even slow down Webber. ------------------
Good point, Tb-Cain. If the Rockets even make the playoffs, that would be really nice. At least there is hope of getting somewhere! And if we don't, hey at least Francis and others will get their first taste of the playoffs and will want to keep coming back year after year. ------------------
