I have heard that he is an outstanding person in addition to being a good QB. Too bad he didn't have much to work with at Baylor.
Sure he did, Baylor wasn't bad at all back then. Wasn't he the QB when they were ranked 8th, but lost to Rice on a last second field goal?
I could be mistaken here, but I thought that JJ Joe took over the offense in 1992...when Baylor really started going downhill and fast.
The EXACT same thing can be said for the students, faculty, and alumni of Texas Tech University when the goal post incident happened last year. So I gues it goes both ways huh?
yes..he was the QB in 91...and they were pretty good in 92, too...that was my freshman year...they won a bowl game against Arizona that year. it was really the chuck reedy years that set the tone of the sucking for years to come!
what's sad is that even a huge sports fan like me has completely lost interest...it's one thing to lose and have me be mad about it...but as a huge sports fan and a Baylor grad, I could honestly care less at this point. it's completely uncompelling. bring on basketball and baseball season...at least we've show improvement in hoops...and we're nationally ranked each year in baseball.
Give me a bucket of quarters and I win PAC-MAN. Give me a handful of Aggies and I'll pretend I'm playing MS. PAC-MAN. Keep playing GI-Joe.
A&M cutting the horns out = 3 to 5 guys Tech fans shoving goalposts = at LEAST 100 students with more egging them on Yep...those are equivalent.
Your little dig at my sig (a quote from Gen. Patton): a) makes no sense b) makes you look like a complete jerk.
There were at least 100 students egging on the goings on at the 1995 game. Oh wait, you thought that was justified.
Ummm yeah but Im pretty sure its the same principal. A small group of people doing something that the majority dont approve of. I dont give a **** if its 5 or 500 its the same damn thing.....
I also wonder how many Aggies thought it was funny that the Horns were cut off. Seeing how it's in their fight song, probably a lot.
