I'm hearing rumors that there are some wal-marts that are out of stock on Water and Canned goods? Is this true. If so I want to go to the local wal-mart or Sams and stock up on what little they have left?
it's definitely true in Galveston..probably happening in spots in Houston. i went last night and there was a LOT of water cleared out. the big jugs with the spouts were all gone. that was at like 7:30 last night.
My mom got back from going to both stores and said they were both CROWDED with people. This is the walmart and Sams off of Interstate 10. She bought water and canned goods though, so I doubted. I guess you could call?
Lol, even though we are probably leaving town tomorrow morning, my wife had a grocery list ready for tonight. Crazy woman. The grocery store is the last place I want to be in Galveston right now.
GF was at the WalMart at El Dorado and 45...said it was pretty nuts. Last night, water was just about gone.
The Walmarts here in Austin are still stocked.... Yall can come up here and hang out with us Austin based BBSers.
The Super Target on Bay Area Blvd was completely out of all water this morning, said they were hoping to get a truck in later today. Randalls on Clear Lake City had no water either. This is nuts.
My ex said that the Home Depot's in the Pasadena/Deer Park area were out of plywood and that the grocery stores/Wal-mart was out of water and most food, etc...
Try the new (open 6 months or so) 74 lumberyard at East St & 225 for the plywood if you are in the Pasadena/Deer Park area.
I just got back from both Sam's and Walmart on 1960 in Humble. Sam's was out and Walmart had just recieved a truck load.
im curious about the Walmart by my house, may check when i go home tonight. EDIT: I was bored at work and went to walmart over on 45 and West Road and that place was PACKED. EVERYBODY had bottled water in their cart and all I wanted to buy was my Mallrats 10th Anniversary DVD in which they DIDNT HAVE
