When your band/artist is coming to town, do you like to know what they're gonna be playing or prefer to be surprised when you're at the concert?
Depends on the circumstances... If it's a band that I know all their music incredibly well, then they could just surprise me. Otherwise, if it's a band I'm less familiar with, I might want to know ahead of time. And for the record, I always like turtles.
I think Korn several years ago for their Sick and Twisted tour allowed their fans to choose what songs they were going to play on the tour which I thought was really cool because there are several songs that I would like to hear live. I've been to several of their shows and that show was the best since they played a lot of songs i've only hear them play live once. i wish more bands would do that, i mean for example at least with Korn almost every show i've gone to I've heard them play Got the Life...great song but would rather hear them play one of the other songs I do like but wasnt a mainstream single etc.
i didn't know that knowing ahead of time was an option. Never really looked for it or found it...therefore, turtles. But given the option, it still wouldn't matter to me (hence more turtles). More important to me would be what they actually play...not whether I knew it ahead of time or not.
It depends. If it is a group/artist that has been around for decades, I would like to know if they are going to play the classics or try to push their new album. I would rather hear the classics.
