How can i make a zip file in windows vista? i need to make a zip file asap.. i compressed a some files into a rar file but the people are having trouble opening it because they say they are on a mac and cant open up a rar file ..it needs to be zip.. i dont know too much about that stuff.. can someone please help me .
There are several tools on Macs that can uncompress a RAR file, like Stuffit Expander. But to create a Zip file on Vista, you can right-click on the folder containing all the files you want to compress and select "Send To" and choose "Compressed File" or something like that - I'm not on a Vista machine right now and am typing from memory.
thanks ..i just seen that now...damn and i started dowloading something called a winzip..guess i dont need that after all.. thanks for the help
