Hey guys, when I stick a cd in, I can play it. But, if I take it out, it won't work. So, how do I save the cd in there? I have winamp.

    Thanks

try placing your CD in your stereo (not computer) and see if it plays. Then pull it out and tell me if you can play it.

What is Music Match? Do i get it at best buy? I'm pretty sure I can do this with winamps and/or nero.

Just use windows media player, it is very easy to rip songs, but they are saved as .wma files so you can't play them on an .mp3 cd player. I think there are probably programs to convert them though.

Winamp can't encode to MP3, but it can rip to .WAV files.

You'll have to get a MP3 ripper like Sound Forge. Winamp is a red herring.

Winamp will rip, but you have to get the plugin for it..i believe.

I actually find that Music Match has the easiest method for ripping..

whatever you do, do not use Winblows Media player to rip em..there are plenty of programs that will do the job much better..

Nero will also rip..I havent done it, but I know it will..
