Has anyone ever used a travel bag for a mid-sized tower?

Where would you buy one? I'm in a major rush, need one for a Saturday flight....no time to order one online.

Another option is any luggage to carry one that would fit in an overhead bin.

Put a midsized tower in a carry on could raise some eyebrows at the airport, I would imagine. I would just put it in a case and pay the $20 bucks, which may be cheaper than buying a carrying case. Make sure you stuff around it with plenty socks or t-shirts. It should be fine.

What do you mean by putting it in a case?

So you think it will get rejected as carry on? I'm going to Germany. I do have a trunk. But then have fears of getting lost for a few days

I travel with a laptop and my desktop. I'll usually just pack my desktop into my large suitcase with clothes around it to prevent any damage in transit.

Something like this might work, but I'm not sure where you could buy it locally.

Pretty much anything specifically designed to transport a desktop computer is going to look similar. The advantage of a set up like that is you don't have to completely unpack it for inspection. It might get some double takes, but I'm pretty sure most casual travelers have seen computer towers before.

I doubt you'd have any kind of problem taking it as a carry on tbh

Congrats on getting your pron fix through the gate.

Not having different clothes is secondary.
