A creative way for NBA commish, David Stern to level the playing field more is to put out a new ball, not letting players cover up too much in games, and letting the refs decide the outcome of games. I would like the the NBA title to be up for grabs like in the NFL.

    • Just about all of the best players in the league are b****ing about the new ball saying that it is slippery and hard to hold. You make the best players go above and beyond the call of duty. Make them earn their millions. Otherwise, it gives the opposing team a chance to win the game.
    • I think the players take care of themselves too much by covering up. The healthier teams are, the harder it is to beat them. Do away with the sports tights, arm sleeves, and wide sweat bands. I don't care if that is injury waiting to happen. If you get hurt, you get hurt. At least it would give the other team a chance to win the game.
    • The refs calling fouls and technical fouls for the littlest things. Yes it's unfair but if some key player gets into foul trouble early, it would give the other team a chance to win the game.
The new ball, showing more skin, and strict refs may not be a bad thing for the NBA. It would level the playing field more.

*I don't necessarily have a problem with the new ball. I've tried it, and yes it's a liitle slippery, but I could adjust to it.
*As for covering up, what's the problem with that? I disagree on the players not being allowed to wear tights and bandss. After seeing the Rockets suffer tons of injuries last year, I wouldn't mind them being healthier in some way.
*I don't mind the no tolerance rule, but some of these ticky-tack fouls at the end of a game shouldn't be called. I say just let these guys play, and let them determine the outcome, not the refs.
