Compaq Chassis Help

Hello All, I need some help.

I've got a Compaq Presario (just over a year old) and I want to replace the CD-RW drive. BUT, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to pull the old one out.

Although it looks pretty standard on the inside, there are white plastic strips running along the side of the drive. I'm sure this has something to do with the extraction of the drive. Also, I think, the face plate needs to come off...but how(?).
