Comcast blows

I rememer I had the same problem in worst time possible. It was in the middle of the rockets vs lakers game durring houston's 22 game winning streak. my cable went out couldn't watch the game on tv, my internet went out couldn't watch the game online and my phone's line wasn't working so I couldn't get updates from a friend. I ended up going to a bar.

damn comcast almost made me miss history!

 

Not sure if you mean Internet or cable, but I'm on ATT DSL and haven't been able to keep a consistent connection all day. I've called ATT several times today and they say nothing is wrong with my line.

 

Why don't we just make a permanent thread that blasts Comcast and praises U-Verse to high heaven?

 

I had no cable or internet from last Saturday till Wednesday and that went for pretty much all the people in my area who had comcast. Pissed me off because when they finally came to fix it, it didn't take more than 5min. At least they agreed to not charge us for those days the service was out but who knows, I won't be surprised if nothing changes on the bill and we have to call them again.

 

A good molotov cocktail will change their tune.

 

My Internet and Phone is AT&T. Cable is Comcast.

 

Man its out for you too. I hate comcast. and they keep putting me on hold. Than when I get through,they hang up on me. Thank god for hulu.

Cable Comcast > Rest of Internet Providers (DSL,Fios,Uverse)

 

I was trying to be funny. Every time cable/satellite/etc issues are discussed here (which is quite often), Comcast gets ripped while U-Verse is almost universally praised. I had the triple play for a couple of years and dumped Comcast last Fall. Will never go back.

 

I like DSL. Consistant speeds, always online, etc.
I feel like I'm getting what I pay for, which is more than I can say for Comcast. :/
