Does anybody think that Rudy is playing Collier quite a few minutes and Ming not a few more is because he is trying to up his trade value a little bit

Im not sure if you could get anything for him but maybe.:)

Collier didn't play badly, 11 points 8 boards off of 5-9 shooting in 20 minutes of action. I think Rudy is starting Collier so that Ming doesn't get any cheap fouls early in the game, and Collier was playing well tonight so he didn't have to give Ming a ton of minutes.

I'm glad to see Collier stepping up when needed tonight.
We do need Cato back though. Does anyone know if he is going to be available for the game against Dallas?

Im glad Collier was playing well tonight to, I have nothing against the guy. But he REALLY doesnt have a place on this team.

Kato starting, Ming off bench, and Griifin to back those guys up.

    The Rockets are covered.;)

Collier has no trade value and will have a hard time finding a job after this year. He had a good game tonight but he cant play any defense and just about any NBA player can shoot over him with ease.

Our centers combined for 20 points, 14 boards and 2 blocks tonight! Hooray!

Props to Collier. He had a good game.

If he continues to play like this, we may bring him back next year. JK :D

Collier, give him time.....he just needs to adjust to actually playing. :) But Collier deserves praise tonite for his offense and defense. I thought he did a decent job vs Z. It's not like Z schooled him.

I think that will be the last time Collier is going to score that much in a game....

He's going to be back on the bench, warming it up for Cato and Ming. :D

Both of them have no clue what they are doing in the NBA....:D

Wrong. Collier will easily be on an Eastern Conference team next season. You are aware of Langhi playing well for the Suns and the shortage of big men in the EC? Get over your personal predjudices...the man is fundamentally sound, has a decent shot and hustles.

I think Collier deserves a lot of praise. Even though he was one point shy of his career best, he didn't pull a K.T. and heave it up for the numbers even when he should have. His passing was above par as was his defense.

After the game, he came off extremely well in a short interview, and has the attitude we need for a bench player. IMO, we should keep him next year. What position would we strengthen by trading him or letting him go?

At least he's better than having an overpaid Kemp

Nope i disagree with all u senior members.. Collier is a crappy center witha decent shot. but he dont have a place in the NBA.... he needs to be the starting center for the HoustoN Comets. but then again Rebecca lobo is probably better than him

I read the article from CHRON. He has really good work ethic. I respect that a lot. I think Rudy sees that too.

I don't mind keeping him as third string center. He seems to be decent when given pt. Maybe Colier will surprise us all and start putting up monster points!!

Collier has about 1-2 respectable games per year...

I'm wondering if Cato is still depressed. Somebody needs to get him some Prozac and get him back in the lineup!!

Props, big fella. Keep it up! (And allow Cato to be gone before he reverts back to being Cato.)
