There is absolutely nothing wrong with starting out in community college. I wish I would have done it instead of throwing away my first year. Less pressure, smaller classes (especially for the core classes), more personal attention. I'd do it for 2 years if you can. If you absolutely can't stand to be in Houston, then go to Blinn.
I loved that site when I was at HCC. I didn't bother for nursing school because our schedules were set. Obviously, the OP's mileage might vary but I was always surprised that more students didn't know about this.
Wow! Didn't think I would receive this many responses. These have all been very helpful, thank you all so much. I'll be attending the Katy campus for all five of my classes, I took a class there this summer and enjoyed it far more than the Town and Country campus or any of the other ones. And yea Ratemyprofessor.com had all of my professors except for one.Mostly good reviews except for one guy who had 12 pages of flaming.
