The 60's is not even close to approaching cold. 60 below zero? Now that's cold.

I just moved from Houston to Chicago in August for work. This will be my first real winter, ever.

I love the cold.. What's better than the feel of "natural" AC? Much better than the Muggy Texas weather...

A little cold won't hurt you, Man up! thats how it s supposed to be anyways.. You're supposed to have ALL 4 seasons.

    60's is perfect fall weather!

You'll be okay.. Just throw on a Jacket. It'll give you an excuse to wear something else other than Summer clothes for once..

I love busting out my winter gear. Like I said, its nice to switch things up for a change.

Wow, drop into the 60's and people start freaking and calling it "winter."

When did Houston turn into a city of p*****s?

When Reliant Stadium doesn't open the roof during a clear day in the low 80s because of the heat.

(Read the Texans/Titans thread on the BBS.)

    Hahaha! Good one.

Soo apparently we can only operate within a 10 degree range, otherwise we turn into b****es.

    80+ it's too hot. 70- it's too cold.

    Houston's citizenry = Nancy Boys.

    WRONG.

below 70 is cold, ie 69.

    too hot is 110.

    100 is fine.

You won't get frostbite in 60's.. LOL

Even in at 30 degrees if you use common sense(like just wearing normal shoes and staying out of water) you won't get frostbite. That dude was probably in the negatives or swimming with the polar bears...

Whats funnier is Kam saying "100 degrees is okay" but "69 is cold".. LOLLL

    I guess everythings relative ;) :p

btw, I hope you were joking Kam.. You're crazy if you'd rather be in 100 degrees than 69 degrees, which is perfect weather in my book.

    mid 60s to mid 70s es PERFECTO!:D

There was a lady on the bus this morning wearing gloves, long coat and a ski mask. You would think it's 25 degrees outside instead of 55...

    LOL.

It may as well be, it's freezing out there. I hope people don't get sick at my office, and if they do, I hope they stay out of my way.

Yea, but she was standing outside where it is much colder due to the winds. Plus black people get cold easier. Not everyone has the luxury of driving a sweet Geo Prism.
