What happened? I just did my tribute at Cat's Meow in New Orleans to Surrender and I'm now seeing everything is gone. I will now boycott anything NBC, which is sad, considering the Tonight Show legacy, but Jay Leno has screwed the network for decades, and they are going to have to live with it. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/xzU0oo5hzx8?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/xzU0oo5hzx8?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AQZd0gZ3FNQ?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AQZd0gZ3FNQ?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

It's like Fatty is personally reaching out towards me. Maybe he has changed... Maybe I've had you wrong all along... Mother told me, yeah she told me, I'd meet hosts like you... She also told me, stay away, you never know what they'll snatch... Just the other day I heard of Leno falling off... Some daily primetime show that's going round
NBC is pretty r****ded. I don't mind Leno so much, but Conan was so much better. The one person I CANT STAND on late night is Letterman. Someone axe him already. Never boycotting NBC because I love Community and 30 Rock too much. Also don't want to miss football games.
Yessssss FFB is rockin it hardcore this time around! Party hard my friend... Party hard! <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/WccfbPQNMbg?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/WccfbPQNMbg?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
I cant believe Brett Farve threw that int to Tracy Porter. I will now boycott anything Minnesota Vikings. He has screwed them for months.
If everybody loved Conan this much initially, his show would not have been canceled. I can't blame NBC for what they did, Conan was given the show, and he didn't perform up to their expectations. If he had, then Leno's requests to come back would not have mattered at all. Quite honestly, I don't like either of them. Oh, and didn't he get like a $30 million severance package? Stop pretending the man is a martyr.
Not entirely true. Leno had a 150 million dollar clause in his contract, Conan had a 30 million dollar clause. Cheaper to let go of Conan than Leno. Ratings weren't horrible, but they weren't what NBC was expecting. Now, let's not get started on Leno's show. Ratings were killing the Local News, which started the whole thing in the first place. NBC was fine with the ****ty ratings, cause it's cheaper for the Leno Show variety hour than a full lineup of 5 prime time dramas. As stated above, this had less to do with it, than the local affiliates threatening to pull Leno due to **** ratings/lead-in. NBC has bent over backwards for Leno before, and Leno has manipulated them (see 1993 Leno/Letterman) No one's making him out to be a martyr. Dude got hosed, lost the job he's wanted his whole life. Gave it up rather than have a direct part in ruining the show. I would occasionally watch Leno before (pre Conan Tonight Show), mostly the last few segments cause I knew Conan was coming on after. I don't care much for Dave, but I thought his "highs" are higher than Leno's, when it comes to laughs, but because I wasn't really paying attention to either, I'd turn on Leno sometime after 11, waiting for Conan. Kimmel I think is ok, nothing special. I think Fallon has gotten MUCH better, although still not must see, but well, it's stomachable now. Craig Ferguson gets lost in all of this, but his brand of comedy is more along the lines of Conan than anyone else on late night nowadays. I've found myself watching Ferguson more the past 8 months, and he's got a good show. I'm glad Conan is back in a week, and the whole NBC thing is in the past now, hope he doesn't dwell on it more than maybe the first show or two, just get the shots in right away, and then go back to your thing. Ultimately, I doubt he will even hint at it. We'll see. As for Leno, I've refused to watch it, out of principal. I obviously don't know the entire story, just what I've heard from articles written by people who are in the know at NBC/TV in general. All signs point to Leno basically getting his way get again. Where's the uproar about Leno's show not having great ratings? Leno's ratings are slightly worse than Conan's were at this time last year. I don't think we're gonna see Fallon taking the helm of the Tonight Show at any point soon (not that Jay would let him), but to think it was only about ratings is silly. http://tvbythenumbers.com/2010/10/2...still-below-conans-with-each-in-repeats/70095
It seems like Ferguson downs a bottle of scotch before a show and just runs with it. Then again, no drunk is that consistently funny. Even you, fatty.
