It seems the Rockets have been left off the lastest power rankings fron CNNSI.

Where are the newest rankings? When I go to the site all I can find are the old ones where we are 12th.

I see now, just a tech problem I guess.

Ranked 10th, hmmmmm, just how are we (4-1) ranked behind NJ (3-4) after the beating we gave them?

Check back in two weeks or two months for than matter. It's still too early too tell much, except.....I like what I see. The Rockets seem willing to adapt and adjust - two distinctive trademarks nonexistent on last year's team.

Ya know, I've been wondering the same damn thing. We beat the Pacers, in NJ, with all their players healthy, and with many of our key players injured. Beat them convincingly, too.

Eh... just goes to show you how little respect Houston gets from sports analysts. It's always been like that. Remember when the Rockets won the championship, and Sports Illustrated didn't even put 'em on the cover? After some protest, they came out with a 'special issue', but the point was clear: No props for the Rox.

I remember that so vividly i was actually in london and i would watch the games like around 1 in the morning to be live and i wish i was in houston to experience it and my mom told me that everyone in houston was calling and going to cancel their subscriptions becuase they were not doing anything for the rockets after they always did it for other people...they put hockey and OJ before us. i still have those issues

I put NO stock in this crap.

Early prediction... Whether LA has the best record or not (and the ba$tards probably will), they will always be listed as #1.

    SI stands for "Sucks It"

Wasn't KMart hurt? Maybe I'm wrong.

    Yeah Martin was hurt.

It's too early in the season to be demanding respect. The Nets are Conference champs and everyone knows they are good. We're a perennial lotto team with a good record after 5 games. Is it a statistical blip or have we turned the corner? Can't tell yet. I don't believe Utah is as good as its record so I can't blame people for being skeptical of the Rockets.

Of course, we will prove them wrong with more wins.

Oh yeah - that's right. K-Mart was hurt. My bad.

Was still a big win, though.

The SI rankings have us at 6-1 before we play Miami tonight!
Do they know something we don't?
