I have seen the Truth and I shall spoke the Truth to thou: Lakers are a very good team! Lakers have four hall of fame players. Rockets are not a very good team. Rockets have young and inexperienced players. Lakers coach is the greatest coach in NBA. He has 9 titles. Rockets coach is not a great coach. He has no titles. Lakers franchise has many many titles. Rockets have only two titles. New York Knicks and Lakers play in the largest markets in the country. NBA is very very unhappy if both go out in first round. Many, many, many sportswriters and experts have made predictions. The Kayman has read all predictions. Kayman has yet to see anyone make predictions Rockets will win. Many, many, many predictions say Lakers will win NBA title. Houston Rockets will win the series four games to two! The Truth was spoken! Peace!
I agree 100%!!! You and Kayman put it right... Stern can't afford for the Lakers to be gone in round 1. So in close games, the refs are the deciding factor me thinks. And if we lose in 5 games by some chance, this series will have been much more competitive than the number of games would make you think. ... I would at least be satisfied with 2-2, though. But I still believe!
I still believe! The Rockets need to show their hearts and resolve this Wednesday's game. We as fans need to do the same!! Even though we lost mostly because of mental mistakes at the end of the game, the refs did all that they can to fix the game in the Laker's favor. They were so great on calling it both ways in this series until overtime. I mean first Yao's follow up layup that should have put us up way ahead, get's wiped out because of a mysterious call???? Then Kobe was fouled while trying to drive and they call continuation on that???? Then Cat was blatantly mugged and there wasn't a call at all so I"m thinking late in the game they are swallowing their whistles". Next time down the court, they call a ticky tack foul on Yao to foul him out on a 3 point play to Malone. We got raped by the refs in the *$$ and didn't have the mental toughness to play through it.
Will not stop BELIEVING!!! Until the bitter end I will have hope and if this series comes to an end, I will just continue to hope for next year! Been doing it for nearly 20 years, not going to stop now!
Before we revive the Clutch City moniker don’t we first need to raise the Choke City flag. If ever there was a good time to do the latter, this moment qualifies. From were I was standing the truth looked like this: Kobe made some great plays down the stretch, capitalizing on the Rockets’ tightness. Believing in a team that played as the Rockets did in the final 2 minutes of overtime is a formula for enraged frustration. The best we can hope for this season is one more win, a close game that is puller out in crunch time. Anything more than that is the type of fantasy that I was broken of long ago. As jimi hendrix said, “If wishes were horses, then dreamers would ride.”
