Now is a great time for everyone who has not donated to chip in whatever you can to the site to keep it active and commercial free. I noticed there are a lot of new members out there now, so make a difference by dropping 5, 10, 20, 50, 100..what ever you can into the pot....If you already did so, you are awesome...

you can use paypal or just mail it in....see the following link or use the main page of Clutchcity.net

I would be quite happy to pay if there is an annual Membership Fee. Why doesn't Clutch charge say $20 per year or whatever he needs to.

The problem is you will make more; thereby, you will still be able to reproduce. Very unfortunate.

Hey, donate your testes instead. Just put them in a contact lense case and send them on. Thanks in advance.

It's been a busy day today for bannings.... gettinbranded, TexasG, houstonsucks and now kidrock8.

I just wanted to say thanks montgo for posting this (last time you did you raised quite a bit), but I owe more than I should request. I owe a lot of people thank you emails, and I feel bad that I have not sent them out as of yet. I think about 95 people have contributed something to the site since the request, and I'm extremely grateful for that. I don't feel the need to worry about hosting costs the way things have gone... again a sincere thanks to those who plug the tip jar and those who have helped out. I will be emailing you responses.

Donating to the site really helps in big ways. Even if you can only give what doesn't seem much to you helps. Every bit counts.

MUHAHAHAHAHAHA

I was devising a responce to him but you beat me to it. I'll see if I can come up with some $$$ for the cause, if not I'll just donate kidrocks testes in a contact lens case if I can find one with some tweezers.

I can't say that I've donated to the tipjar yet, but I haven't had the funding to be able to do so yet either.

My donation, however, will be on it's way in a couple of weeks and I encourage everyone to donate what they can - even if it's just a dollar - to help the site. Every little bit counts.

(And at this rate, I wonder, are we going to be left with only a couple of non-Rockets fans on the BBS?)

This is awesome....the buzz around Ming and the Rockets....a couple folks have responded by saying they will contribute when they can and that is awesome!!!! This is intended to be a commercial free site and even promises to contribute down the road will help tremendously.....to the 90+ that have contributed, good freakin job!!!! Manny and MF said it best...any amount helps and with paypal it is easy......

Clutch: a couple years back I ran a site using donations, so I know it takes a Village :)

Clutch-
Since moving to New York in November of 1995, your site has helped me keep in touch with all the Rocket fans while giving me ammo for all these New York Knick losers who continue to bash me at work. It gives me great pleasure to donate to your site today. I hope this site stays here forever! Thanks for the great work!

Thanks for posting this idea; I've procrastinated on this matter myself. As much time as I spend on this website, I MUST pay, my conscience will be clearer. :)

If somebody was to send a money order, do they just cash it at a bank or something?

I might just send a money order. I will probably send 10 bucks, 15 bucks, or 20. Something like that.

Just wondering why TexasG got banned? He never seemed like a troll to me....I even did a search of all his posts and the last one was one where he posted an interesting article...

And...everybody donate something please...even if only 20 % of the members donated 10 dollars each, it could probably finance the hosting for a few months...of course it could not even come close to paying an adequate amount of money for all the effort Clutch (with help from Jeff and the others) puts into the site...

-money order - cool...he can cash it

-no credit card - you can walk into any bank or convenience store or even the US Post Office and purchase a money order for any amount...there is a convenience fee, but it is usually pretty nominal

-I do not know what the bar is at, but I know some that contributed $100...but again...$5, $10, $20, $50, $100...whatever works for you...every amount pays for something. every contribution is the same...cash money

On the tip jar page, you can find details on mailing donations. Generally, checks and money orders are safest through the mail, but you can send cash. Just wrap it up in a couple of pieces of paper so it is hard to see through the envelope.

Send it to:

David Hardisty
PO Box 70996
Houston, TX 77270-0996

Thanks all for the help. It is a huge support for Clutch and the site.
