This isn't a complete breakdown, but I thought this segment from Clutch was edifying: ----------------- ----------------- Q: What is the overall goal for, lets say, this season at Toyota Center. A: Yeah, very good question. Specifically what they are trying to do, I don't know. Looking from the outside in, its very confusing. In talking with people from the Rockets, they don't specifically tell me what the plan is, but they consistently warn me, "Hey, wait until the whole offseason is over". If you look at how this team is structured it is plainly obvious that they are going to have a trade if not multiple trades coming up ...they are operating as if Kyle Lowry is not even on the roster. They are pursuing Jeremy Lin, giving him 7 to 8 million dollars a year. You would have thought if they lost Dragic they would just say we have a great value point guard, a guy we pushed for the all-star game just a few months ago. But yet they are pursuing another starting caliber point guard. That is very confusing. ...they are acting as if Kevin Martin is not on the roster, drafting Jeremy Lamb, pursuing Eric Gordon, ...and they've got seven power forwards so, there is a huge, something is going to go down here soon, I think, that will make more sense, but so far, what we have seen certainly has fans in revolt.
Sounds like they are still trying to assemble their "Dwight package", and Martin's salary is a big key to matching up the salaries for the trade.
610 has been dogging Clutchfans for a week or now (josh enes and b shaw mostly) Maybe they are butt hurt that they lost the rockets to 790, but earlier this week they went overboard with the hate. I havent tunned in since. Only 790 until texans football returns
Those weren't your words, but it was certainly the general impression I got from that particular part of the conversation, and that was before reading his loose 'synopsis'. Again, key word is 'possible'. That door was definitely opened.
I didn't even realize 610 talked about the Rockets any more. Every time I tune in it's some jibber jabber about the Texans' WR3 and WR4 or OL. Who gives a **** in early July
On no...It's been a all in Rocket bashing every since the Rockets left for 790 and its obvious. Josh Enis is leading the charge hard and he has mention Clutchfans by name numerous times. Matter of fact, clutchfans has been the victim of his assaults because many of us believe in Morey and this team. He went as far as to list all the teams HE rather have than the Rockets. Pretty named every team except Bobcats, Rapters and the Bucks. Yea...it got real
