I just looked at the Clippers schedule because I noticed they only have played 4 road games all year. Then I notice they only play 4 road games in December also. But, check out January, February, and March. Now that is one brutal schedule. It seems almost every game is on the road. I don't see how they can make the playoffs with that schedule.
Yup 18 of the first 24 games for the Clips will be at home [including one 'road' game against the Lakers]. It's going to be tough for them, but with their talent I think they have as good a chance as anyone else for the last couple playoff spots. Speaking of nutty schedules, check out Utah's itinerary for February: http://www.nba.com/jazz/schedule/#Feb. I'd like to see how they weather that death march...
3-8 I do not pity the Jazz at all...as a matter of fact, I will enjoy the demise of the lottery-bound Utah franchise. I hate the Jazz!
From the "Just in Case You Didn't Know" department: Utah's is so brutal because the Olympics will using the Center all that time. That schedule was a compromise between the city and the Jazz and the Olympic Committee.
Knowing the way the olympic committee operates, I would say it would be in the form of some kinda kickback.....or maybe something as simple as larry miller getting a freebie from a very un-mormon-like one-eyed, toothless Bangkok hooker
