I voted for Bill twice. Don't regret it at all.

    LOL!

The funny thing is, most people don't realize how similar all elitists are. The Clintons and Bush's are two of a kind.

Clinton would've been considered a right-winger in most Western countries. He was far from a liberal, except when it came to the one thing that both Republicans and Democrats are staunch supporters of: BIGGGGGGGGG Government.

Clinton did more to strengthen American hegemony around the world than most people realize. His subtle, yet enormously clever, manuvers on the world stage almost made everyone around the world buy into the 'noble' American empire; many became intoxicated with a dream called 'America'. Oh, if only Bush Jr. learned a thing or two from his father and Clinton!

Great politician, as skilled as we will ever have. Not surprised him and Bush Sr. get along so well now (they are practically hang-out buddies), because they share SOOOOO much in philosophy and their outlook on the world.

So Sishir, in case you're reading, this is another reason why there is little/no real differences between the two parties.

The Dems are truly nothing more than Republican-lite. Think of them more as "centrist", with the Republicans further to the right of the political spectrum. This might be the secret to the great political stability we have had in the US, that there was no radical change no matter whom was in the White House, and therefore a level of stability and 'expectedness' that is rarely present in other democracies.

Yea it's funny. :D . But it's only funny because we know Clinton. GWB's quotes transcend personal references. If anybody said them, I'd fall off my chair laughing. It is even funnier when the words come out from the President of the US. :D :D

Good point. It just shows how people don't even know what they support. If Clinton is republican-lite, then GWB is republican-right.

Well, comedians certainly will look back on these 8 'brief' years of Dubya as the "golden age" of comedy (the political type, that is). There has NEVER been a president who has provided more material to work with. He's truly a natural.

I didn't vote for Clinton either.

But the Bush quotes were funnier.
