I open a window and turn on the vent...

Health concerns to the point of banning sounds like nonsense wrapped up in poorly correlated studies.

Gordon Ramsay can share now drinks with coal workers with his Asthmatic Lung

    Fun fact:

Like 100 years ago the gas in pipes used to be "town gas", which is gas made from coal and was supposed to be like 50-50 hydrogen and carbon monoxide.

That crap was seriously nasty and toxic, from what I've been told. That's how Slivia Plath could kill herself with an unlit oven, just by turning on the gas. That method of suicide doesn't work with natural gas, or at least is much more difficult.

Why does the Left always want to over-regulate everything?

Why does the right want to maximize return on investment regardless of future repercussions to society?

Is it because those people think they eventually can find their utopia Yacht island and isolate themselves from the normies when **** hits the fan due to their actions of the past half century?

I think comments like this expose you as someone who never actually sincerely engaged with people you disagree with and just have some imaginary blue haired woke caricature in your head.

I'm not going to speak for "Lefties" but as soon as I saw the headline I had the feelign this wasn't a serious proposal and was just being overblown for the news cycle.

In the US? Sure, that's very true in the echo chamber of the rightosphere. If there is any ban, it should be a gradual phase-in for new shared housing construction. I don't support that either, but I don't have a big problem with it either.

Didn't Germany ban gas stoves? Or the EU? Maybe you are thinking of them.

I don't know, but I wouldn't put it past them. Germany and the EU are masters at over-regulation and bureaucracy. A leftist's dream.
