i dont think Sandler would be up for that. Wouldve had a "wow" factor to it, but still, wouldve been different.
Not really. You don't want to end a comedy on a note like that. It wasn't like the whole movie was a serious drama or something. Some movies aren't supposed to have the dramatic tragicomedy ending, you know? I loved this movie. Totally hilarious, and a great message too. I thought it reminded me of Bruce Almighty, but I'd say it's even better.
good - great flick. while people are giving props throughout this thread to the eye candy quality of Cassidy and Beckinsdale (and so they should) I have to stand up for mu contrywoman and Sophie Monk, the blonde assistant of Hasselhoff, Australian produce. and its wonderful to see.
This was Frank Capra-lite. I liked it and it had a great heart like all Sandler movies. I thought Sandler did his best acting to date in this one. The best comedy was with the little rich kid next door. That was priceless. Overall, just a fun, feel-good movie in the vein of It's a Wonderful Life.
Saw Click last night (A Scanner Darkly was sold out) and was pretty surprised by it...I dug it. Very Capra-like...pretty dark there at the end.
A great movie. I love Happy Madison Productions. And I love the recurring themes. I was watching 50 First Dates last night and they were all playing golf and the kids were doing the "Happy Gilmore Swing" and Sandler was like, "That is the stupidest looking swing I've ever seen" Hilarious.
O'DOYLE RULES! seems like there was only 2 people that recognized this, me and this girl sitting in front of me. we both said it at the same time. i honestly think Christopher Walken stole the show. not a funny movie but yes it is worth paying for.
