I really dont know why rockets doesnt utilize hayes at all on the offensive end. i think tonight he shows that he does have some post moves up his sleeve, its just hes extremely rusty offensively due to lack of use.

im not saying we should make him a go to guy on the offensive end, but if he can put in 8 to 9 points a game plus his superb defence itd be an improvment to the team.

lol. If he put in 8 or 9 points a game. He'd be a starter.

I'm sorry but Hayes offense is terrible. And if he gets fouled, his free throws are probably THE WORST in the NBA.

I love his defense but his offense is so bad...like he flips up shots instead of shooting.

Too bad Landry doesn't have Hayes' defense.

Lakers left him open, and he still only got 8 points.

Some posters don't understand we'd lose alot of games, because of the Hack-a-Hayes strategy.

Because nobody passed him the damned ball and when Brooks and Artest made their half assed attempts, The Lakers deflected the pass.

    Grow a backbone for once.

Plz, Chuck doesnt even look at the rim when he has the ball. Everytime he touches the ball, its like he's a new born baby.

I like the move he did on Odom though.

He got great post move but he is too short, he either end taking a difficult contested shoot or get his shoot block. He is one of those guys that get his hook shoot block. Hook shoot are hard to block but when you are a 6'4 trying to shoot over 6,10+ defender is a hard task to complete.

Is like when player like Gasol who got good post moves try to do over Yao they always end taking a difficult shoot or getting his shoot block.

Hayes is way to short and have not lift to consistently get a good look download.

That brown stuff isn't rust -- it's feces.

I mean, I love the Chuckwagon, but let's not lose touch with reality.

Gotta give him credit for trying. If he could hit a jumpshot, and FT's that would be great. His inability to get to the rim is another drawback.
His defense is really great for a 6'6" guy.

It's like, all three of our PF's have a skill that the two other 4's lack.

Landry and Scola lack Hayes' defense.
Scola and Hayes lack Landry's "GO AND GET IT" attitude
Landry and Hayes lack Scola's post moves.

If ONLY we could combine all three together, to make CarLuCk HayScoLan, or something like that, haha.

Imagine a 4 with Scola's experience and post moves, Landry's attitude, and Hayes' defense.
    ------------------Funny stuff aside---------------------------------------
You would think that Chuck might work on some other aspect other than his defense this offseason.

I mean, the guys defending him leave him UNcontested all the time, almost. Imagine if he could just catch, set, and shoot, while his man tries to run at him, and he strokes that 10 foot jumper.
