http://blogs.chron.com/techblog/archives/2006/01/whats_your_pass.html -- What's your passion? What do you really care about? What are you passionate about? What are the things in your life that make it rich and fill your days? Would you like to tell the world about them? At Chron.com, we want to give you the chance to write about your passions, the things about which you consider yourself an expert, on our site. Are you into gardening, scrapbooking, astronomy, cooking, wine, fishing, knitting, birding, hiking, camping, cars, jewelry, antiques, travel, electronics, books . . . ? In other words, name your passion. If you live in the Houston area and would like to blog about what you know best on Chron.com, drop me an e-mail. I'll get back to you with more details.
Sounds interesting. I would be willing to do a politics one if I lived in Houston. In the meantime I'm trying my own experiment with blogging on MySpace but haven't setted on a theme yet. So far its just been random crap. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=49286265 Any advice from bloggers out there? Do you write about a specific theme or just random thoughts?
Oh I have no doubt you would be. For some insane reason, though, people seem to like Ken Hoffman. I'd like to have their baseball blog, wherein I would do nothing but dissect the unfortunate phenomenon that is Richard Justice.
Silverman's done a good job of convincing the powers that be at the Chron to do some interesting things with their online edition. Buck should start a blog deconstructing Justice. Go for it!
¿Qué es un BLOG en español? ¿El blogo? Or, I could keep emailing Glenn Davis about my passion for my favorite Mexican futbol team, Las águilas del América. I could do one to help people in español with "la InterNet" in Spanish. Can I do that, Mr. Silverman?
I really doubt the Chron wants any sports bloggers.. If some online joe-blow wrote about sports better than they do (which is very possible, if not highly likely to happen) it might embarass their current staff.. Same goes for politics..
