Doesn't sound very promising based on the latest Chronicle update:

    No timetable on Landry

Rockets forward Carl Landry, out since March 17 with a gunshot wound, on Tuesday went through a few shooting drills for a second consecutive day, but there is still no timetable for his return to full practices or games.

“He was really not exploding or anything else off that leg,” Rockets coach Rick Adelman said. “I really don’t know how long that it’s going to be.’

The just so happened to be an inch taller shoe for height measurement, cuz each 1 inch can equal $3 mil? :)

Not saying that happens, but maybe it should

Any injury of that nature is going to cause atrophy of the muscles, which will lead to decreased strength. It's hard to comeback quickly from such an injury.
It's quite possible that Carl may miss the playoffs.

Well there goes our season again

What about the 2nd round? If we make it maybe he will be available for that.

I'm confident Landry will be ready come playoff time. He may be rusty but he'll be ready.

I think he'll even play a couple of regular season games.

I hope so. I also wonder how much of his quickness/leaping ability he'll have lost.

we could have used Landry's rebounding tonight...in my eyes that cost us the game

Our season was shot when McGrady couldn't get healthy. I'm sure Landry will play in the playoffs, but the impact of his absence is small in comparison.
