adelman apparently is fed up with utah's pathetic display of physicality, esp. how they are able to get away with murdering tmac on the perimeter

"You have to look at the tape and send it in to the league," Adelman said. "Hopefully, they look at it and say this isn't right. But for the most part, that's asking someone else to do what you have to do. You have to respond."

The response to the physical Jazz defense that has limited Tracy McGrady and shackled the Rockets is the same as it has been to any offensive problem throughout the season.

"Harder cuts and moving more make it more apparent to the officials." Adelman said. "They were laying on Tracy. They were doing more things to him out on the floor than they do out on the post. That is something that has to be addressed by our league. It's gotten worse and worse.

if this was 10 yrs ago, i have no problems with what utah is doing to tracy. physical play is good. but there are NEW rules now. you can't touch a guy on the perimeter and they're allowed to just push/pull him without calls.

hopefully refs will listen to adelman

Yeah...the refs must be *****in blind. Hands checks aren't allowed anymore in this league but everytime TMac sets-up for a pick & roll the second defender just uses his arm to stop TMac's progression which gives them the ability to double hard. And fat-ass Harping just stands in front of TMac leaning on him on every play which is basically a blocking foul which makes it extra hard for TMac to receive the ball. He has to spend so much energy cause he can't move without fat-ass in his way that by the time he gets the ball he's exhausted and can't get a good lift on his shots.

Might be too late now but I'm confident that we can beat these guys in 7 if the refs start calling these fouls.

Tmac gets no respect when he drives

If it was kobe or wade, harpring and ak47 would foul out in the first quarter

Kenny Smith was getting handed checked by Derek Harper and the Rocket still won that series.

b/c if you just touch kobe -> foul.

let's be real, tmac gets no respect. i think brewer has played him pretty fairly. but korver, harpring, and ak47 have been getting away with A LOT. those guys should foul out the first 6 possessions tracy have against them b/c all of those are fouls.

I didn't see much of it besides with Harpring and Kirilenko. What really makes me mad is Kirilenko holds on to his friggin arm and when T-Mac tries to shove free he gets called for an offensive foul because Kirilenko flails about like a slinky? WTF?

    The refs are idiots.

The Jazz players play McGrady like that little kid on his leg a few weeks ago.

If the refs called those fouls, the Jazz players could foul out before the half, which is why I think the physical play of the Jazz is let go.

It isn't right. Call the game the way it's supposed to be called.

In the meantime, the Rockets need to fight back. All the complaining to the refs isn't going to get you anywhere.

McGrady gets roughed up, and he has trouble. Yet, the Rockets let Deron Williams all the way to the rim going untouched. Rafer needs to hump Williams' leg on the perimeter, or give body checks when he tries to drive.

TMac has no adjustment to his game. His idea of adjustment is passing or throwing up a rushed 3.

How about when the Jazz players lock up arms w/ opponents, swing them around, & fall as if they were fouled? I can't count how many times they did that to us last game, and the refs fell for it almost every time.

they hacked the crap out of dream too. Mason, Ewing, Charles Smith, Oakley

I like Tmac. but Lebron is getting hacked too, but he's taking to the hole like he's Walter Payton.

Dream got hacked too. You NEVER SEE Tmac get QUADRUPLE TEAMED do you?

Anyone remember the Jazz vs Rockets? Ostertag, Malone, etc they threw the bus at the Dream and he still took them to school.

No excuses guy. be more physical!

I don't have much hard feelings about Refs allowing Jazz players' physical defence on TMac, only if they allow our players to play hard on Deron Williams as well.

Intensity is not the major issue, consistency is.

If I were Coach Adalmen, I will challenge the double standards of their refereeing at two ends of the court.

lebron is getting to the line an average of 13 times a game. tmac only 8 and utah is a much more physical team than say the "wizards".

like i said, i don't mind the physical play. but with TODAY'S RULES, fouls are fouls. call them.

the fouls we get called are most "soft" fouls. yet they get away with some of the craziest stuff.
