    - Good to hear. I think the Denver game may have turned out very differently had Battier played.

-What the hell is a Thanksgiving pumpkin? Is Battier mixing up his holidays?

    - I wonder if the Rockets will post "Shaq" Battier more. He was totally bullying Manu and Mason when the Rockets beat the Spurs.

With Battier back, I think we can hold up just fine until Barry and Mac comes back.

Sounds like he still has foot swelling so he's not 100 percent. Can he play back to backs? Anyway good to have him back especially with Tmac out for 3 weeks or more. Loved his post game in the SA game, that hook shot against a double team was sweet.

"Key matchup: Luther Head vs. Baron Davis. The Rockets’ undersized shooting guard will have his hands full against the powerful, attacking Davis."

    Wow that's horrible...

stopping davis will be a team effort. I don't think Head will ever even have to guard him. That IS terrible.

Rafer is a better defender than Head. I wouldn't even try to imagine Luther on Baron. Maybe Shane or Ron can switch on him too when we need a big defensive play.

Even through hs shooting slumps and injuries, as a fan, you can always depend on Shane to show up. After being out for 16 games this year, Battier could always be seen behind the bench, in that red Rockets jacket of course, cheering on the team.

Now, he can focus on what he's always been good at: Individual player and helping defense. Any offense will be a bonus.

Good to have you back, Shane.
