    Irrespective of the vagueries of fortune since, signing Webber would have been the right move at the time. Signing Mo and trading for Rice were not.

    I don't know about this...

    Webber is one of the true superstars of the league, IMO. He's intelligent, supremely talented and brings plenty of leadership to the locker room. Sacto is where it is not only because of his play - especially obvious now that he's NOT playing - but also because of his leadership and the environment he has helped to foster in the locker room. It's the best type of peer pressure. Everyone's loose, likes each other, plays the right way and no one cares about stats. They just win.

    With a player's coach such as Rudy, he would have been phenomenal... Just take a glance at his history: he took GS to 50 wins!! That, in itself, says a lot...
