That was the reason he did not do "Next Friday", right? I remember hearing that he wanted to disassociate himself from the R rated type, pot smoking, overly cursing kind of roles. Probably a decent career decision, but damn was he funny in "Friday".
Ice Cube said in an interview that they couldn't afford to bring Tucker back for the Friday sequels because his salary grew so much.
I think he's funny too. He's usually the bright spot in bad movies though. Did you see Resident Evil 2, when he's running down zombies in his car and he says "GTA mother-f***ers!"
No sugar? Damn. Y'all ain't never got two things that match. Either ya got Kool-aid, no sugar. Peanut butter, no jelly. Ham, no burger. Daaamn.
yes and their leverage is not making a sequel almost sure to take in serious money versus not doing it since no one but tucker and chan could do it.
Chris Tucker Arrested "Daaaaaaaamn... he ain't gonna be in Rush Hour Three..." [laughter from the crew]
Yes, a classic SF flick, and he was one of the best things in it. What the hell was "Friday?" And isn't today Thursday??
i just got a copy of Jackie Chan's new film New Police Story. this movie rocks, glad to see Jackie goin back to his roots. its more serious and very nicely done.
Chris Tucker needs to get back in the movie industry. Cedric the Entertainer and these other "funny" guys aren't cutting it anymore. And you can forget about Eddie Murphy. We need Tucker!
