If this has been posted my apologies Chris tucker arrested Comedian Chris Tucker was arrested in April 2005 and charged with reckless driving and fleeing to elude after he did not immediately pull over his speeding 2005 Bentley. Tucker, 33, spent about 30 minutes in a McDuffie County lockup before posting cash bond and being released. According to cops, the "Rush Hour" star, an Atlanta native, was doing 109 mph on Interstate 20 when clocked by state troopers. Hmmm anyone notice the suit over the orange jama top? how often is that permitted....
Oski your right It's still morning I have an excuse....been up all night bidding on Rockets tickets in dallas
If you're cruisin' in a Bentley, you really ought to have your own driver. Could have saved you a lot of trouble, Chris!
His resume is pretty slim. Rush Hour 1 was in 1998 and Rush Hour 2 was in 2001. He didn't do anything in between or since. I'm thinking he should be driving a Camry instead of a Bentley.
Except for the fact that he made tens of millions of dollars on RH2. Jackie Chan made even more money because he took a cut in salary in order to get more of the backend.
C'mon BS. How does Chris Tucker command $10 Mil? He's funny, but not $10 mil funny. His leverage is NOT WORKING vs getting millions. His agent must be awesome.
Hasn't Chris Tucker been doing charitable work in Africa? I could have sworn he and Bono went down there together. Oh, Chris Tucker was supposed to do a movie about the first black President, but Chris Rock beat him to the punch. I guess that got scrapped. Rush Hour 3 is supposed to come out in 2006, but I don't even think they have a script.
yeah, i'm pretty sure he was involved with that. good for him. obviously if the allegations are true, it was a bad decision on his part.
Tucker Tucks Away Chris Tucker is looking to sell his San Fernando Valley home for about $2.2 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. The home, where the 30-year-old comedian has lived since 1996, is 6,300 square feet and includes five bedrooms, a wet bar, a gated courtyard, pool, spa and golf course views. Tucker is looking to move into another gated community. Georgia-born Tucker, known for his bug-eyed expressions and fast patter, left his native state to hit the comedy circuit in Los Angeles before starring in a slew of comedies, including House Party 3, Friday and Rush Hour. Although Rush Hour, which co-starred Jackie Chan, is considered his breakout film, he was reportedly paid a scant $3 million. By comparison, for Rush Hour 2, released in 2001, he reportedly took home a $20 million paycheck as part of a $45 million deal with New Line Cinema. Forbes Not exactly chump change.
I said tenS of millions. It turns out it was 20 mill. http://www.boxofficeprophets.com/tickermaster/listing.cfm?TMID=169
Doing some reading at IMDB, this is some of the latest news on Tucker. Apparently, he became a born again Christian. He won't do any more R rated films. He still does stand up time to time, but doesn't use curse words in his act, etc. I've been trying to find any info to substiantiate any of this, but I haven't been able to, so take it all with a grain of salt.
