and he looks like the best PG in the game again. i know a lot of other PGs are also playing at a high level, but no player has the all-around game that he does.
westbrook is good, but he's nowhere near paul's status. if you put paul with durant, he might just average 13-14 dimes with ease. rose could challenge.
Until Chris Paul gets a legit team, it doesn't matter if he is the best PG in the league. Same with Wall and to a lesser extent Rose. What Chris Paul has around him is probably as worst or second worst team he could possibly have next to Steve Nash's team. I feel bad for Rose cause I don't think that's how you surround a great point guard with teammates. Boozer is not gonna show up in the playoffs and the rest are scrubs who are bound to choke when it matters. For Wall, well let's just say he's gonna be a one man show for a long time cause his GM is terrible. For Deron though, I'd say there's still hope for him for Al Jefferson to turn into something, add in also Millsap. IMO, a great PG needs two go-to guys. The Jazz have given Deron that, so I applaud them. It's sad when you have on your team this really talented player and yet you can't help him win. The league needs smarter GMs.
The Hornets are 4-0 and spent this past offseason putting some good talent around Paul. And they're not done. Once Peja comes off their books, they will have an extra 14mil to spend on a big time free agent.
Yeah yeah but according to Clutchfans he is fat. Didn't see it when they made the thread and still don't see how he is fat.
Chris Paul was the only positive thing for me last night as I actually went to the Rockets game. And that's because he was my first pick on my fantasy league.
Chris Paul is still a stud. People seemed to forget about him, but when he's healthy I still feel he's the best PG in the game. Early on, he's leading the league in PER (way out ahead, actually). I expect that to continue throughout the year, with LeBron/Wade stats going down. http://www.basketball-reference.com...&c3val=&c4stat=&c4comp=gt&c4val=&order_by=per Through 4 games, his assist to turnovers is over 7:1.
?????? Have you watched the Hornets this season? They may not have the Celts or Lakers bench but they have a "decent" team around them and unlike PHX they dont have 7 or so small forwards making up their roster. You want to talk about bad rosters then lets have a look at Philly or Golden State and you'll see the Hornets front office didnt do a great job but they could have done a whole lot worse.
I was gonna say that. That MFer is not even looking to score just passing the ball and he is doing an insane job out there on the court.
