If the ROX do try to make some moves in the offseason, they will most likely spend some good money or do a sign and trade and either land a "good" PF or PG. if they do move Franchise to the 2 then most likely they will try to sign or trade for a "good" PG, meaning they may not have enough to get a "good" PF but should the ROX look at CHRIS MIHM because i think he would fit in with the ROX. Ever since his years at UT, i felt that he would be a good athlete in the NBA, he can rebound, and he can score especially in the post. He has a great work ethic and i think he could flourish under RUDY bcuz hes been stuck with the CAVS who have identity problems. With him, i think we would have a PF/C who could give us a tough and smart player who is a banger and give us the putback points.

    career stats: FG:42%, RPG:4.9, BPG:1.0, PPG:7.2

    what do yall think?

Chris Mihim sucks! he's the third backup from the worst team in the league. We have a guy names Jason Collier.

I was disappointed we didn't get a shot at Chris Mihm when he first came out. However, that changed even though I am a UT-Ex. Chris has been hurt too easily and has not lived up to his paycheck. Collier (a Mihm clone) would be much better to keep than trade for Mihm. Heck, I'd rather have Desagana Diop.

I remeber some people thought before he didnt play that well in the NCAA tournament that he would go #1 overall in the draft.

And he still went like #5 anyways.

    HaHa

    Poor guy

I think he should have stayed a year at UT.

As a UT grad and someone who went to most of UT's basketball games when Mihm played there, i can tell you that Chris Mihm was one of the most overrated players I ever saw in college. The guy was princess soft. I always found it amusing that Mihm got all the press when I thought Gabe Muenoke, his team mate at PF, was a better player. Mihm was a good shot blocker IN COLLEGE and he had a soft touch on his 10 foot shot. However, he could be pushed out of the paint by Mugsy Bogues and didn't rebound worth a damn when he came up against a forward that played physical in ANY way at all. Chris Mihm benefitted from playing his college ball at a university that was willing to give him the kind of PR campaign necessary to fool some GM's into wasting a high pick on him. The Cavs bit and look at them now. I have no bigger fear than seeing Chris Mihm in a Rockets uniform. Avoid him like like the plague.

The one thing that I noticed about Mihm when he played here was that he was very foul prone. This habit carried over to the NBA, where he averages like 4 fouls in the 20 minutes a night that he plays. Mihm did have an excellent knack for blocking shots, which has helped in the pros. He's got good range on his jumper as you said.

Mihm is an average rebounder at best, who needs to do a better job of using his size to box out scrappier players. However, if he can stay out of foul trouble, he is a VERY serviceable backup NBA center, good for about 20 minutes a night.

He did have a good PR campaign, having played in the Big 12 under a national spotlight. However, Mihm benefitted tremendously from leaving school early, to enter one of the weakest drafts in years. He was picked #7 overall, whereas if he waited another year, it would've been like mid to late 1st round.
