Chris Kaman's contract is just too expensive. Yao is better as a starter and Chris is too expensive as a backup. Anything that hinders the possibility of resigning Artest is a bad idea.

If I were to trade for a starting center (and have to pay for it even though he would be a backup in our system)I would trade for Brad Miller. He could be a PF when Yao is in and a backup center when he is out. Plus he is a good passer as is very well acquainted with RA's motion offense.

Anyways, Kaman or Miller, both pipe dreams imo.

I think he would be a great addition on this team!

We could trade Scola, Head and Francis...contracts work.

Kayman is a true 7 footer that averages a double double and also blocks shots (almost 3 a game last season) and he can play pf or c.

At this point in their lives Kaman is far superior to Deke. Kaman can come off of the bench or start. He helps with 2 of our problems....height and rebounding.

I love Scola he is such a great player but Kaman has a better Career average and is younger.

But on the other hand Scola has a lot of value. Its hard to get a power forward with his production for the measly 3 mil a year we pay him. Also he has good chemistry on and off the court with Yao.

I am glad that I dont call the shots because I have no idea what the right decision is.
