I didn't say you're communist. I said your reasoning was. It is unconstitutional to impose an age limit (unless the business demonstrates and proves that age is a detriment to the business). That's the very definition of age discrimination. If there was a CBA in place and the union opposed an age restriction imposed by Stern, the two parties would have to go to court (unless Stern removed the restriction). Can you post the article where Stern defends his position? I haven't heard this theory that it takes millions to develop players. The same coaches that coach the veterans will coach the youngsters. I don't see any additional resources being used.
So if I need a college degree for a job persay, that too is unconstitutional? How bout the fact that you need to pass a test to drive, or how bout the fact that you need to pass the bar before you practice law? Look, we all take pointless tests, basketball players can do the same. I am not saying college cleans them up perfectly, but, if I am a bball player and my coach is threatening to kick me off the team because I drink to much, and there is no NBA to go run to, I am gonna clean up. The end justifies the means!
