Anybody know of a good chiropractor they want to recommend? Just got new health insurance that covers chiropractic and I want to start getting my back cracked again. Looking for someone preferably inside the loop or in the Galleria area. Preferably female...there is just something about a woman who cracks my spine. Happy endings optional.....
Dr. Richard Werner. He is located on Richmond between Edloe and Buffalo Speedway. He was recommended to me a couple of months back when I messed up my lower back by two different people. http://doctorwerner.com/ He is obviously not female
I've been to Core Chiropractic a few times and been pleased. It's in the Galleria area. http://www.corechiropractic.net/
You should be able to look up in-network chiro's in your insurance plan's website and select to only look up females. Sometimes you can find pics of said Chiro on their clinic's website.
Helpful hint... if they can't tell what is wrong with you from little more than looking at your posture or a cursory look-over, they probably aren't very good .
Doing a quick search in Houston I thought these two "Doctors" were the hottest. http://www.1960westchiropractic.com/doctor_thomason.html http://memorialchiropracticclinic.com/doctors.php
Aaaaannnndddd that is why this is primarily quack medicine, not real medicine. I accept that things could be out of alignment - but looking at a clothed human and making a spot diagnosis is just silly. The fact that some of their customers would accept or expect this shows the kind of hand-waving that goes on. If it were a science, they would be taking x-rays or MRIs first and then doing their procedure, and then showing you the result via x-ray or MRI. On the other hand, I have my wife stand on my back and it feels great. My chiropractor is free! (I think I'll go get treated right now)
