Chill everyone. It is just 1 game. We lost by only 9 to a good team, on the road, and we played aweful. When we play good we will win! It is just 1 game! 81 left in the season!

Yes, it is only game one. Let's be optimistic about the rest of the season. Ever hear of a team called the Anaheim Angels?

Just 1 game + last year...

The reason people are going nuts (somewhat including me), is because the same problems we had last year, are still lingering this year.

Until the Rockets deviate from last year's habits, the criticism will remain, and justifiably so.

It's time for the Rockets to put up and shut up. I'm going to the game on Sat, so I sure hope the Rockets make my 100 bucks worth the while.

I'm trying to wonder what exactly the Angels have in common with the Rockets.

They have the Rally Monkey, we have Clutch?

I agree that it's one game, and the season still looks bright. Steve and Cuttino can light any team up, and with Rice, Kenny, and Mo back they will be even better players. I almost wanted to turn the game off when Jason Collier was in there. Good Lawdy he's awful. I've never been too hard on the guy, but he's horrible.

You should hear the morons calling 610 tonight during their postgame show. Complete morons.

Anyone ever hear "Collie" before? He's a freakin' idiot.

Angels dropped 12 of first 19 games. They are now World Champs. That's what I meant. Not to say that the Rox will be NBA Champs this season. :)

It is just one freaking game. With 3 players hurt/suspended. This is the biggest bandwagon city in the NBA. All preseason, I read all these optimistic posts, and after one lost with 2 starters out, people are ready to prepare for the lottery.

People are complaining about Stevie? He had a Jordan-like night and people want to complain? If we win our next 5 games, all you haters will be jumping on the bandwagon just as fast as you jumped off.

I understand your trying to spin it positive...I do.

But please admit that this wasn't a good team we lost to.

And they were minus Reggie Miller.

I guess the real reason everyone, myself included, are freaking out is because it is the exact same bullsh_t we saw all last year and the year before...

Too many injuries. b****ing about them. Having no semblance of an offense. Not running any plays. Dribbling the shotclock out. Etc.

These are all recurring, three year old, themes.

It is time for something to change.

And the Rockets brought this on themselves by talking all preseason about the new offense. The new motion offense (regardless of whether it is actually motion or just limited motion to set up isos). Everyone in the game tonight (except Ming) was there for the whole training camp and should know the "offense" inside and out.

Please tell me why it isn't being used.

How is it that nobody is talking facts? 9assists for an NBA Team is disgusting! Where is our Point Guard? Why was there so much standing arround and players hardly ever touching the ball? Only Cato Francis and Mobley were in the Game, anyone outside of them should have just sat down and let them get on with it! It was an extreme example of SELFISH play! The worst I have ever seen! Nobody outside of the BIG three had any idea what was going on.I was not aware of any Coaching either.

Indiana was missing their starting backcourt. Think that had anything to do with our back court getting 60 something points?

No, we will be watching with scrutiny. Even if we win a few games in
row, we will watch and see if they can maintain it over the long haul.

    Longevity and discipline!!!

Just because they win a few in a row means nothing. Show us consistancy.

So what? The Lakers are on their way to lose 2 games in a row to start the season. I guess they are going to the lottery this year, right?

I hope those Kobe Jerseys go 1/2 off tomorrow!!!!

    Maybe Rudy isn't in charge.

A few wins in a row means nothing, but one loss without starters means everything, right?

If he does act like that every time we lose a game that would make him a New Orleans Saints fan. :D

What if the Lakers win 45 games this year, but win the championship
    anyways (with Shaq back).

They get into the lotto, AND win the championship in the same year!

    ...ok, I'm just messing... :)
