... and it's enough losses to lose two 7-game series.

Chicago is 15-15 against the West. Not that it's much to brag about. Houston's 27-19 against the West and 18-12 against the East. Even the Wolves are 27-20 against the West, and they aren't even in the top 8.

Bulls are riding a magnificant coaching job by Skiles, a great infusion from their rookies, and Curry/Chandler trying to ensure their life savings.

Of course, Curry's got 'buyer beware' written all over him. All over.

It's good to see the Bulls back in business. Skiles did a great job in getting that young group to settle down and play defense.

Also, what a year Ben Gordan is having. The kid is amazing and is going to be a stud in this league. He's a great shot and very strong for a PG, plus, I think we've all seen what he can do in the 4th quarter.

Ben Gordan should be ROF. Dwight has had one hell of a season, but Gordan is a BIG reason why they are a top seed in the East.

this guys post aside its nice to see the bulls being a competitive team again after soo many years. but one has to wonder how long it will last. reinsdorf is going to have to pull out is wallet big time. chandler and curry are FAs this year and being big men they more than likely will receive more than the MLE. then they will have the re-signing of hinrich, deng, gordon, duhon all in the next 4 years. i mean its great that they have such a young team and nucleus but given salary cap issues they will have to somehow let someone go via a trade or just let them walk. much like what the grizzlies are facing right now. a lot of talent all roughly the same year drafted meaning a bunch of major contracts ending around the same time.

but without deng i dont see them making major noise in the playoffs, if they face the wizards it will depend on the healthy of jamison i havent heard of him playing in a long time because of an injury. if he isnt in the lineup come playoff time the bulls will advance to the 2nd round to face miami, who will send them home.

Yes.... Rookie of the Fourth ;)

Dwight has had a big season, but he hasn't scored 10 points in the fourth quarter this year....

Good ole sheep joke never goes astray :)

SCREW CHICAGO! They are in the WEAK east.

Only 1 team is strong in the east....maybe 2.

Heat....Pistons. Now compare the rest to the REST of the WEST.

If Eddy Curry can't return in time for the playoffs, the Bulls are one and done. Scott Skiles is a GREAT coach, and he's got this team playing the right way. However, they are not going to come out of the first around against Indiana if Jermaine O'neal is healthy.

Ha, maybe I should check my spelling before I submit stuff, I meant ROY. But Rookie of the Fourth makes sense as well. :)

I expect Skiles to be out next year. You can safely bet on the year after that if he doesn't. His style doesn't last long in the league and there'll be hell to pay if they re-sign their FA only to find out that they're overachieving yet again.

The thing with Chicago is that they are too old to improve - their average age is already 22.1 and getting older by the minute.
