Almost as good as that Winslow smack down. Now that one was classic and it couldn't have happened to a better guy either!
What about SIMMONS' hit on the Interception by Aaron Glenn in the Raiders' game? Does anybody have a copy of that one or the link to it?
The best hit I've seen was one from an A&M player, I believe Coryatt who absolutely leveled the player he tackled. Can't remember what team they were playing. Geez....
While we're talking about big hits, let's not forget Nathan Vasher absolutely decapitating Tech's Carlos Francis when he was trying to catch a fake punt in 2001. By far the loudest, most vicious hit I've ever witnessed.
A remarkable hit that I remember was one year (maybe 95?), Texas was playing Texas Tech. Tech tried a fake FG and Tony Brackens came in and totally blew up their poor kicker that was running for the first down. In my memory, that kicker flew about 10 yards out of bounds before he even hit the ground.
Greg Jones from Florida State is the one who stiff armed the defender. I dont know who the other guy is but that was nasty.

The Tony Brackens 1995 hit was one of the most brutal I've ever seen. It was like he literally flew from across the other side of the screen to lay out this FG kicker who had no clue what was coming.
The best one I have ever seen was when Sean Taylor absolutely launched himself and demolished Krenzel, the QB for Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl. It was around the goaline and dude just blew him up (Vilma, the Miami MLB also had a piece of Krenzel but Taylor hit him more squarely than Vilma). I remember hearing Keith Jackson say something to the effect of "Oh my goodness! What a shot! Will he be able to get up from that?" To his credit and my chagrin, Krenzel did. But boy did that guy take some shots in that game.
