Do you just have them or you do not? Or can you train them? Or is it a bit of both (you have to be born with them, but you can get better)?

in my experience it's a bit of both. but i'd definitely say that there seem to be people who are predisposed to shine as leaders...and some who just aren't. different people have different sorts of energies, it seems.

Probably "a bit of both" is the more sensible answer, though the majority of it is something you're born with. If you're willing to put on a face other than your own, do a good acting job, sell your soul, etc., you might be able to learn charisma. If you want it to just flow from your natural personality, though, that may not ever happen if it hasn't been happening already.

I never had any charisma or leadership skills. Born without them. I can be nice, and people will at least have to give me credit for that, but I don't have that magnetism. It's amazing I've gotten as far as I have; on the other hand, I can pick things up quickly, analyze problems, and I'm usually right about stuff. Which is enough to get me a faculty position, but I'd hate to deal with the "real world". If I could only put that with some decent leadership skills... then you'd really have something... :(

I don't think anyone is truly born with them ... its how you were raised up. (Within the first few years of your life). The rest is just learned.

There are severly handicap people who are great leaders, while for the most part, the rest of us in near perfect health b**** about every blemish on everyone else and ourselves, yet would could lead ourselves out of a wet paper sack.

To test a leader in a group, ask a pondering question and see who everyone naturally turns to for the answer.

I'd say a bit of both. You have to have the personality, but with the proper training, even someone who is not a natural leader can become one. In the military, this made itself abundantly clear.

What matters is R U married... which unfortunately she is.

Which leads us to the question...

R U unhappy with your husband's sexual technique....?

Yes, I'm hot. No, I'm not married, but I am completely satisfied with my boyfriend's sexual technique.

And I think that some people are naturally charismatic and extraverted. Others can learn to be so. And then there are the rest of the population who don't have it and will never pick it up either.
